Recently. i went to the cinemas to catch Inception. I was utterly impressed and i feel like watching it all over again.
Let us a take a look at the plot. A group of ambitious individuals headed by the title character, Cobb played by Leonardo Dicaprio enter people's dreams to steal their ideas. Ideas that are capable of making a lot of money. As the story goes, these 'dreamcatchers' are able to enter dreams within dreams. As the level of dreams multiply, the length of the dream increases. Simply put, they can spend upto even 80 years in their dreams. If you look at it carefully, you will gain the realisation that the plot is in the same mould as old films like the Matrix.
The movie's hallmark(most interesting feature) is the director's vision. Christopher Nolan is one of the few directors, who has the gift of consistently making great movies. He has been able produce a profusion of blockbusters lately. Many directors get lucky for one film and fail to duplicate their success. For Inception, Nolan skilfully engages his audience as he builds up the story with gripping scenes to engage you through the very end while injecting action scenes and visual effects to excite you.
In addition, an international cast adds strength to the infallible storyline. Japanese actor Ken Watanabe is convincing in his portrayal of Saito, a corporate executive, who attempts to destroy his rival competitors in business.
In overall, i feel that, this is the most unique movie to come around since the Matrix but with better acting and direction. With all the sequels and remakes, this is a fresh movie not to be missed.
