Dear students,
Today's lesson will be an extension to the Vocabulary lessons we have been having over the past one week. We have learnt some new words. However, if we do not apply our new knowledge to practice, we will soon forget these words as well as thier meanings.
The list of words as follows:
1. infallible (adj) - flawless, perfect
2. mould (n) - pattern, form, type
3. profusion (n) - huge amount, glut, abundance
4. realisation (n) - understanding, awareness, insight
5. gripping (adj) - absorbing, engrossing, interesting, fascinating, spell-binding.
Students are to come up with a short movie review (atleast 250 words). In your movie review, you should include
- A brief outline of the film - Plot, Setting, Characters
- What was good and bad about the film (for example, boring dialogues, poor acting)
- Your final opinion or verdict of the film
- At the beginning of the review, you should include a title that sums up your review and rating out of 5 stars (Use asterisks).
- Your review should also make use of interesting pictures
- Your review should include the 5 new words highlighted in bold.
- Work should be done in pairs. At the end of the review, you should include your names.
- Your reviews must be posted to the blog by the end of the second lesson (tomorrow).
